Getting Around

Stow Firework Spectacular takes place in the grounds of Walthamstow Cricket, Tennis & Squash Club.

The main entrance is directly from Greenway Avenue onto a permanent tarmac roadway. After approximately 50 metres, the roadway ends and the event site opens out.

  • Bear left up a grass slope towards the main event field, including food and drink vendors, seating, games stalls, the fire performance area and the main fireworks viewing area.
  • Bear right onto the venue's hardstanding car park, where you'll find the larger funfair rides, retail stalls and toilet facilities.

Terrain & Pathways

  • The majority of the event takes place on grass.
  • Temporary pathway matting is provided from the entrance split point, up the main grass ramp and around the food and bar area.
  • The larger funfair rides, retail stalls and toilet facilities are located on the venue's existing hardstanding area.
  • The temporary pathways do not provide continuous coverage throughout the site.
  • The fire performance area, fireworks viewing area and some surrounding open spaces remain on grass.
  • Ground conditions may be uneven and can become muddy or slippery in wet weather.
  • Please take extra care if using a wheelchair, mobility scooter, walking aid or pushchair.

  • Queues to enter the event can be significant during peak arrival periods and may involve prolonged periods of standing.
